Dell u2410 vs dell u2711 ?

The 27'' has better resolution 2 dvi-d ports , but worse aspect ratio , level of brightness , power consumption.Both have wide color gamut.Which one to choose ?

For multimedia , video rendering , photoshop-like apps , gaming , reading .

Both are not bad choice. Still the24" Dell U2412M Ultrasharp IPS 1920x1200 LED Monitor $329 is amazing too.

Led actually does little to harm the image quality. It can vastly improve contrast ratio, though. The u2412m is an amazing monitor. The ips panel makes rich, deep colors. Saw one at my friend's house. It will beat up the zr24w (1100:1 contrast compared to zr24w horrifying 400:1), and a better choice than the u2410 if you don't need wide gamut. Haven't seen the u2711h though
