Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a new monitor. Currently, I have a cheap 1080p, 16:9 aspect ratio and 60 Hz monitor. I've been looking at the Dell U3415W and the Dell S2716DGR. The monitors are both in my budget range. The Dell U3415W costs 688 USD at (https://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-PXF79-34-Inch-LED-Lit/dp/B00PXYRMPE?th=1) and the Dell S2716DGR costs 470 USD at (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-27-led-gsync-monitor-black/5293502.p?skuId=5293502&productCategoryId=). But I can't decide on which one to get.
I’m also considering maybe buying a gtx 1070 8bg graphics card. Currently, I’m using the gtx 970 4gb.
Should I get the ultrawide, with the cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio? Or the gamer focused S2716DGR with g-sync and 144Hz.
Here is a short summary of the of the pros and cons of the two monitors (or at least the way I see it). Please let me know if I’m overlooking something
