I want to know if this 30" monitor with Display Port means that I can play with Nvidia 3D Vision

Does Display Port means it runs on 120Hz?

If that's true, this monitor at 2560x1600 will be THE monitor for gaming and professionals

I thought Display Port was HDMI 1.4, and that means you can send 120 Hz over the HDMI cable

You need 120Hz dude... The only monitors that can do 3D now will be highly advertised as such. Samsung makes one.. Check Dell/Samsung and Nvidia websites as a place to start. I'm pretty sure the biggest one you will find is 24" right now.

24" monitors is the max

then the minimum is 40"

so there is a BIG gap from 24"-40", and those monitors are pretty good for gamers, for desktop, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Widescreen gaming...

I can't go back to a 24" monitor now and lose 8" just because I will have 3D graphics every now and then.
The main use of my PC is work, but from time to time, I want to play too.

Its about resolution, not inches.

HDMI can't even do 2560x1600 let alone 2560x1600 at 120hz. For that you need at least displayport 1.2

Also the U3011 doesn't have 120hz, even if it did. Nvidia cards do not have display port.
