Dell Vostro 220 graphics card help

, I recently bought a business computer from dell, and it has 2 PCI-E slots. I am Wondering if a ATI HD5770 would be a good choice to make it a gaming computer? It already has 3036Mb Memory, 240Gb HDD and a Intel Dual Core processor. Would this be the ideal graphics card to buy? I'm on a budget of £150

The Vostro is a small tower, which should fit the card tell me the mobe, the specific intel processor and the PSU rating.

I just put a 5770 in the Vostro 400, which I believe, is very close to the same case. It was a tight fit but wow, this card absolutely destroys the games! BF Bad Company 2 @ 1920x1200 and High settings is absolutely stunning. My 3DMark06 went from low 2000s to 10800.

I'm asking for the power brick with the sticker with a lot of wires going out of it, it's plugged into the AC cable connected to the wall. Also I need specific specs to give an opinion. Dell isn't known to provide PSUs designed to take on a mid-range card like the 5770. Otherwise with your budget may I suggest a CPU upgrade?

I have a built-in Intel graphics card, don't know how much memory it has, but i know it isn't what i need. i Know i need a PSU, but i cannot afford a graphics card and a processor upgrade. im only 15!! i have only £150 to spare. any ideas?

Um I'm not sure what you mean by laptop case as it is a PC. Anyway 305W is small, so no 5770 for you. I would recommend either a 5570 or a 5670 instead. Though they are a little pricey they are more power efficient and support DX11, Eyefinity, and PCI-e 2.1. Anyway truth be told I'm 16 and can't buy online with no credit card anyway. I got the specs from X-Fire, thats probably why. but im looking at a 500W PSU. is that ok, or is it too much?

That is adequete, go for it, but get it from a name brand. If you don't you might find it pooping out on your the day the warrenty ends or sooner. When you mean X-fire are you saying Crossfire, then no your 500W can't handle it.

Um I'm in the US so, Thermaltake, Antec, Corsair(just don't get a Sapphire card with it, power problem) um that's all I could think of off the top of my head. Here's more.
