[SOLVED] Dell Vostro keyboard shift key not responding

Hello.
So, I have my Dell Vostro 5470 for a long time and recently, I started to notice a weird change of it''s keyboard. When I try to use a combination of shift+other key. There's a chance that It doesn't work. I've tried plugin a external keyboard and it works flawlessly so I don't think its a software problem. Please help.

hi there, for such case, you may try the following:

Before trying, disconnect your external keyboard first

1. Device Manager>Keyboards>Expand it
2. Uninstall HID Keyboard Device or any Keyboard listed there
3. Restart PC
4. Your issue should be fixed, if it isn't better if you send it to shop for troubleshooting, it is rarely a software issue if it was working fine all the while and out of sudden it went haywire.
