Question Dell XPS 15 9570 not charging via dock

Hi guys, I have a Dell XPS 15 9570 and I also have Dell docks that I have been trying to use so I can connect it to my living room TV. I can get the laptop onto the TV just fine, however it will not charge off the dock. I have looked around the web but there seems to be no definitive answer for this. Some say the dock should work just fine and one source states that it won't charge the laptop and I will need to charge it separately (in which case whats the point of the dock then if I can just connect an HDMI straight from the laptop to the TV??) I have tried multiple WD15s and WD19s, none of which worked (these are the docks FYI). I have also updated all of the drivers that Dell offers and still nothing. I have also messed around in the BIOS settings (and updated it as well) still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

Look over the compatibility guide, https://www.dellemc.com/resources/e...essories/dell_docking_compatibility_guide.pdf my guess is you have a 90w power supply and need a 130 one. Did you check with Dell support?

I actually have a 240w power supply, so that shouldn't be the issue and I have not contacted Dell Support yet
