Hi! just bought the XPS 15 9550 and I was looking for a low profile SD card that doesn't stick out. I tried on Amazon and there are MBP 13 and 15 versions, with different size so I don't really know ehich best fits for the dell. Any advice?
Thank you

Look at these two:

not an sd card, it's something else. Transcend call them jetdrives, not sure what others call them, but it is not wholly to the SD std.

Once you know what the generic name for them is then you'll be able to find them. BUT if the port on the machine is not designed for them then they may be difficult to retrieve or seat properly as they'll be deeper inside than they should be.

I strongly recommend that you DO NOT muck around with the 32GB SSD used for file caching. It may be possible to upgrade it but I've never heard of anyone doing it successfully. Simply replace your hard drive with a 2.5-inch SSD. It fits into the same caddy.
