Dell xps 1530 motherboards

I need to update the processor (CPU) currentlly 1.6 ghz on a Dell XPS 1530 to a cpu 2.0 or higher but i am not sure if the Motherboard would be campatible.

You really haven't provided enough info to find an answer. What are the current specifications of the laptop? From what I'm reading, it already has a 2.3 ghz processor
