Dell XPS 420 or ..... ????

Hey lads so i've been planning to get a new pc for a quite a while now, and yesterday i've noticed a great deal from dell which looks really awesome...but i have a dilemma because i always wanted to build my own pc but dells offer seems to be a bit too good to turn down nd it actually looks less expensive then building a system with a similar specs.
So i found Dells Dimension XPS 420 ( quad-core q6600, 2gbs ram, 8800gt 512mb, 2x250gbs in raid0, etc.) for €825 and to be honest i couldn't really build such a high spec system using components from either dabs.ie or komplett.ie or any other EU based site(getting stuff from newegg.com or any other us based site is not an option since i live in Ireland) for such a price.
Is that dell xps 420 presents a really good bag for buck ratio? If there are any xps 420 users around the forum could they share they views and experience about their system? and if anyone knows where i could get or build a better or similar pc for the same money?
I don't need a monitor and my budget is 850 euro.

Amazon.com is another surprisingly good option.

The Dell, itself, does sound like a decent deal based on specs. You may be disappointed in the Q6600 performance unless you run apps that take advantage of quad core. For gaming and mainstream use, a dual core E6850 is much faster.
