The main differences between the two specs are:
memory: xps 430 uses ddr3 and 540 uses ddr2.
video card: xps 430 uses 512MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 (512 mb memory) but 540 uses GeForce GT220 with 1024 mb memory.
Can some kind soul give me some adivce on which model is better to buy? I use the machine for software development, non heavy gaming and some video editing.
