Dell Xps 730x Question!

so i have a dell xps 730x.
i bought 2 new sticks of ram at 4 gigs each. my xps will not read these ram sticks. ive tried updating bios but the last legit update was the same one i have. so i did some research. put area 51 a11 bios on and still wont read ram. please help!!!!

1| Unless Dell have expressly informed it's user base to use BIOS/firmware of another system, it's not a good move to perform especially since the wrong BIOS on the wrong machine can make for a very expensive paper weight. If you have a link to prove that both the Area 51 and the XPS 730x use the same motherboard and BIOS then it's a step worth pursuing.
2| Can you please pass on the rams that you purchased to drop into your system?
3| Are you adding ram to your old loadout, i.e mixing and matching?
4| If I'm reading this correctly your XPS 730x is powered by an X58 motherboard (most probably an Asus board) which means you will need a triple channel kit or at the very least 3 identical sticks of ram since the X58 platform ran off a...
