Dell XPS Gen 3 BIOS A07

Hi,

I recently cloned an old hard drive on my XPS Gen 3 to a new SSD which I've purchased.

I've taken the old hard drive out and tried to boot my system with the SSD (which has the cloned version of Windows XP Home Edition) on it.

Unfortunately, my computer isn't booting to Windows.

Does anybody have any idea how I can remedy this situation?

u can't clone old technology with new which is exactly what ur trying 2 do! the differences n bios/firmware, hardware and software just won't b compatible! 1 little difference in any of these things is going to give u problems! if u had data on the old drive that was important u should have backed up that data 2 another storage device b4 doing what u r! if there isn't a data priority, do both, a low level n a high level formatting of ur hard drive, and b4 u start reinstalling your os again clear your cmos!
