Question Dell XPS power supply only works in a Dell computer?

Got a 400w Dell power supply I'm trying to put in a new build but doesn't power on when jumped, only turns on in the Dell computer it came out of. Is there something I'm missing?

do you have the front panel pins in the right order? they dont go in the same place on every mobo.

It's a Lenovo m92p i5 3550. And yeah everything works with the power supply it came with and also another Dell power supply but it's to small for what I need so I want to put the 400w in it but doesn't power on. I tried jumping it with the green and black wires but nothing. I put it in 2 different dells and it works perfectly fine
