Question Dell XPS17 Battery Life

Recently bought an XPS17 but it won’t be in for a week or so. Does anyone know how long the battery life is? I bought the 4K Touch Screen Model with i9 11900h and RTX3060. I believe the battery life is something like 97WHr but I do not know the calculations to find out how long the battery lasts at max wattage.

It depends entirely upon what you're doing on the machine. However, expect 3-4 hours for such things as light Office, email & such that use only the Intel GPU and are light on CPU. Much less if gaming or other activities that use the 3060 heavily.

It's simple math. 97WHr = 97 hours when drawing only 1W & 1 hour when drawing 97W. Everything else is somewhere in between dependent upon current draw.

Got it. I understand minimal life when gaming, just curious on what other users may have experienced with microsoft app use and notetaking. I appreciate the quick reply!
