Designs for silent cooling - Where?

Hi people.

I'm looking for locations that have good designs for cooling simular to the water cooling items reviewed on tom's harware in the past.

I was mulling over different ideas and want to try building my own setup to max out my current system and squeeze all I can out of my Duron system I'll be assembling shortly.

To resolve issues encountered with the Koolance system tested in June, I was thinking of using seperate cooling lines from the waterblock for each of the cpu, vid card and power supply cooling plates. I was also considering using a non-electrically conductive liquid to transfer heat. (I remeber looking at a page a couple of years ago where a crazy user immersed his whole system in a styrofoam cooler filled with sub-zero temperature cooled mineral oil.) That way leaks would not pose a hazard. Finally, I was also considering using peltier elements to assist in the thermal transfer from the heat sources to the cooling plates.

What would be a good liquid to transfer the heat and remain non-electrically conductive? And what would be the best tubing and connectors to use that would not react with the transfer liquid?

I would love to chat with anyone else who has dabbled in water cooling.

Can't wait to throw out all 6 fans.

here the thing water is so good for cooling becuase of its specfic heat which it 4.186 watts per gram this allows it to pick up large amount of energy and not rasie in tempature much

Another simple manual way is to build a switch so you can run your fans on the red 5v line instead of the yellow 12v. That way you only have to crank it up when you run at load.

Running fans at a lower speed is not an option.

I'm usually running full load 95% of the time.
(If I'm not ripping MP3's while using the computer, I'm encoding divx while away.)

My current system will be the testbed for the cooler. I've got a P2 266 running at 338 with 3.2v core. It puts out a lot of heat!
