I have a pair of Micca RB42 speakers for my PC that are powered by a stereo amplifier, to the green audio port. I'm wondering, if I wanted to add a center channel speaker, a Micca RB42-C, powered by a second, mono amplifier, would it be as simple as plugging the line-in from the amplifier to the orange audio port to get it working? Secondly, since from what I understand, this orange port is used for either a center channel speaker or a subwoofer, would this limit me from adding a subwoofer in the future? I've never actually used anything other than the green port for audio on a PC before.

Update your post to include the applicable make and model information for all devices/components.

Also include full hardware specs and OS information for your PC.

The motherboard's I/O panel ports and connected front panel/case ports being of most interest.

And you must consider the connectivity and standards being used (TS, TRS, TRRS).

FYI:

Understanding what is available and configurable for use is the starting point.

The ports are all 2 channel ports so the orange port is both center channel and subwoofer. You would need a splitter, similar to a left - right splitter, to split the orange port between the center and subwoofer.
