Desktop Background Is Slow At Loading

So i have an ssd and my computer is very fast boot (10 - 15 seconds) and everything loads on startup like the icons and folders and i can open application immediately on startup without almost any lag. But the one problem i have is the desktop background! It will take 30 to 45 seconds to load most times. It will just be a blank black background for a while then the background loads. This is very annoying. How can i fix it?

What do you have as a background? There are some web backgrounds that you have to get from the web, so the computer has to wait for an internet connection(after starting), then make a request to get the background, and then wait for it to be downloaded.

Check the startup applications and cross off those that you do not need. As that guy said above, you might be connected to something network depended and all of the sudden it is not about your ssd any longer, its about your internet connection.
Also, check if there aren't any viruses by running a full scan (them bitches can slow down PC's like nothing )

So i checked and i have very few startup items. Actually pretty much just my anti virus. Also all of the wallpapers are images on my computer and I made sure the images are on the same drive as the os.
