Question Desktop background keeps going grey

Problem: Recently my desktop background keeps going grey. Sometimes when I have a window open (ex. chrome) and I minimize it, the desktop will be grey in color. Other times I will notice that when I am on the desktop if I hover over an icon (application, folder, etc.) that icon will turn grey, eventually the entire desktop will turn grey. I have 3 monitors connected ( 2x 'Dell P2719HC' & 1x 'Acer KB272 E') and this will happen on all 3 of them at the same time.
Attempted troubleshooting:

• Restarted PC multiple times
• Restarting Windows Explorer from task manager temporarily fixes the issue for a few minutes
• Updated drivers using AMD Adrenalin software GUI
• Updated BIOS (from F37a to F38f)

Updated drivers using AMD Adrenalin software GUI
Did you use DDU to do so? manually reinstalling in an elevated command with the latest version from AMD's support site?

Updated BIOS (from F37a to F38f)
Did you clear the CMOS after you're verified the BIOS was successfully flashed to the latest version?
