Desktop Computer No Internet Switch

As I know there is generally not a internet on switch on desktops. If there is a shortcut for keyboard. Pls let me know.
My running system is a:
Dell XPS1 2720
Win8.1
64Bit

No such thing as you are explaining it.

If your desktop has a wireless card, you will see a wireless enable button if you open the charms menu and go to settings.

If your desktop does NOT have a wireless card (most likely scenario), you will have to connect it with an ethernet cable to a router.

If you don't know what your computer has, contact Dell.
