Desktop delay

Hey there people. I think I'm experiencing a delay when windows boots up, as I hear the windows theme music play during the black screen after the flying colors for about 3 seconds before the desktop loads. I would suppose that the desktop is already loaded when the music plays, but my screen remains black for a few seconds until I see it. Also, it seems that my monitor displays the "hdmi 1" input notification at the top right as soon as the desktop appears. I have a sloid state drive, and with this issue the boot is around 27 seconds. That seems slow, as it seems I'm wasting seconds when loading windows.

27 seconds is not that slow even with an SSD. What are your system specs?

It could be the monitor adjusting the input..

it usually happen if monitor had auto detect input feature...

Try to set the monitor input manually to HDMI... see if it still happen..

Well, those are great specs. Have you tried different video drivers? And do what RCD says.
