Question Desktop doesn't load

Hey everyone, i need some help with an issue that started just now, after booting my laptop i pass by the login screen with my password but when the desktop loads it stops there. The hour and date and the task bar appears, and I can move my cursor normally but I can't open anything, my desktop and task bar icons don' show up and keyboards shortcuts like Ctrl+Shift+Esc or Win+R don't respond. The only thing I can do is right click or press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and logoff. Every button on the User screen works but nothing else. I can, however, get to Windows Recovery Enviroment by holding shift and restarting but i can't use System Restore or undo updates because it results in an error.

Ctrl alt delete - processes - new process
Type explorer.exe and hit ok
See if that works (havnt seen ur pic)

I can open the Ctrl Alt Delete menu but the task manager doesn't open, so I can't end or open new processes
