I'm having some issues with my desktop. It's been doing this a few months now-- when booting the computer, more often than not, the monitor won't recognize that the PC is turned on. If I leave my speakers on, I'll still hear the "do dO, Do DO!" when windows boots up, but I can't see anything. This will happen nine times out of ten. When the monitor does work, I typically have no issues. I had this problem a while back in addition to some bluesceen problems, but switching my SATA drivers from AMD to Standard had it working like a dream. Everything went back to hell after another windows update-- issue being, the drivers are still set to Standard and not AMD. I don't exactly know if this is relevant, but lately the computer has been crashing mid-game; just completely shutting down while playing games that this machine has handled with flying colors before.
