Hello there, first of all how do you feel about AMD? You could get an 8 core 3.4GHz FX 8310 for less than half the price of the Intel. I have one and It runs great. I steam to twitch, play league of legends, listen to music, and have skype running at the same time with no issue. And the game still gets 212FPS.

It also can run Skyrim with a 4k texture pack at ultra settings with 55FPS.

Here is my build:
AMD FX 8310 3.4Ghz unlocked
Gigabyte GA-78LMT USB3.0
EVGA Geforce 460 1gb GRRD5
8GB Kingston HyperX Red 1866Mhz RAM
EVGA 550W PSU
Cougar Solutions Black Case
1TB WD Blue HDD
128GB Kingston SSD

Total cost was $412 USD

AMD is great. I use both AMD and Intel. AMD is more for gaming because their CPU's and GPU's pack quite a punch for a much lower price. Intel is great for rendering and photoshop and things like that. Its just what the Intel CPU archetecture is built for.

Like I said my Gaming PC uses the FX 8310 processor and It runs everything stupid fast. My PC turns on in under 20 seconds, it runs any game I throw at it with ultra settings with at least 50FPS. I would look into an AMD system if you want to primarily game, and if you get the AMD cpu, you could buy a second Graphics card and run it in SLI to get even better performance.

basically swap out your Motherboard for an AM3+ socket of your choice and then get the AMD FX 8310 or even the 8320 which is a bit faster for an extra $30. Then throw in a second Nvidia GPU and you will have a pretty great PC

And like I said I stream to Twitch while I game, run skype, and listen to Music at the same time. I use Adobe After Effects and PS and it renders in about the same time that my intel does. My intel pc is a i7-770k. And at times It runs slower than my AMD system does

The point that I am trying to make is that AMD fills that price-to-value sweet spot much better than intel does. Now Intel is great, and if you have the money to buy one of their higher end CPU's then I would. But if you want to get the most bang for your buck, I would go with an AMD system.

AMD FX 8310 3.4 Ghz 6mb (got mine up to 4.9Ghz) (8 cores) - $98
Intel Core i5 6mb (4 cores with Hyperthreading so basically an 8 core) - $258

Two processors that are generally the same. Will have about the same performance, however the AMd is almost 1/3rd the price. That is $150 you can use elsewhere. The main difference is that the Intel will last the life of the computer. Where as the AMD will run well for about 8 years, then drop off after that. The build you have @TheVulcanBlade is good and solid. But if it were me, I would switch out for and AMD system and get an extra Graphics card.

It's ok, although the 750ti is the go-to budget gamer's card. Make sure you get 2gb though

As for power supply the evga W1 is average at best. The B2 and G2 are better
XFX do good psu's, so do Antec (their high current gamer series in particular) and seasonic. See what you can find :)
