Desktop icons are gone.

Hi, I hid the icons when I had Windows 7 because I was using Rainmeter and I didn't want them to show. I honestly don't remember how I did it but I know I didn't delete them. Now I have Windows 10 and want them back, but "show dektop icons" is checked. How could I get them back?
