Desktop Icons changing their position when changing resolution in games

This is a pretty frustrating problem because I've alot of shortcuts on desktop and I play alot of different games and sometimes I've to change the resolution in them after what my icons go crazy and lose all of their positions.
Is there any solution to this ?
It would be really nice to have a program that saves all icon positions and doesn't let them move.

I hear you same thing happens to me, can be quite annoying. Right now im going through the mass effect games again and I use DSR in those games so every time I play it my icons get all messed up. I found this for windows 7, I have 10 but I might try it I will let you know if it works.
