desktop icons dont work

My desktop icons freeze. The taskbar works do I can go to programs on the taskbar and they work okay but cannot use any of the icons on the desktop. I did a restore from seven days ago but it did not help. I ran two differnt wirus programs but hey don't find anything.

try changing your wallpaper.. maybe someone did a practical joke by setting a screenshot of your wallpaper with your desktop icons making it unclickable. (sorry for my bad english)
