Hy! My problem is the following:

After a day, something causes that, that my desktop icons (mainly in the lowest row), keeping blank spots (can't place icon there, that one will jump away), and in the right corner, 3-4 icon's space, which behave the same as the previously described. I'll attach a screenshot of the problem.

I tried everything what I could find as solutions to this problem (icon's spacing, desktop tray size), only the safe mode worked, but after the 2nd restart, the icons did the same as earlier.

right click start
choose run...
type winver and press enter
what Version number are you on?

Current is 1703, build 15063.483

I only wondered as I thought that not being able to put anything on bottom row problem had gone by now. If you on any version prior to 1703, I would go here and click 1st button. it will dl the upgrade assistant, run it and it will bring you up to date.

I don't use any icons on desktop - I have them all hidden, have everything i use on taskbar instead, and creates a toolbar called desktop to access anything I do have on there but I rarely use it. So I am really not right person to answer this...

I would suggest asking on Tenforums , though which sub forum is a good question but I am sure if...

Well, yes, I am not using any 3rd party program to arrange my icons. And if I remember correctly, I did try the clean boot, without any success...

Hey, I have this problem as well, but I have sort of found a way around it by first placing random icons right above the space in the lowest row where you want to put your desired icon at. Then you can move away that random icon and the lowest row icon will stay where it is, even after restart (at least for me).

To be honest, I tried to play with the scalingearlier, but I tried again after you suggested it. Sadly, it still not works for me...
I know, I should mention this too, but i tried so many solution to this problem, I'm not really remember each one.
