Desktop Icons Look Weird...

Would someone please explain to me how to fix my desktop icons. That weird cd drive icon keeps appearing on my desktop icons where originally the shortcut arrow would be. I saw this right after my system crashed and I forced shut down my computer. Would anyone help please?

You could also try running system restore and pick a day before the crash...
