Desktop Monitor not supporting Graphic Card drivers

When I tried to update my graphic card drivers, I got a message that my monitor need to support 1600x1200 resolution. The monitor that have is Dell E2240L which supports 1920x1080. Should this be of concern to me? I would appreciate your suggestions on the way forward.
