Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. P67A-UD3P-B3 (Socket 1155)
Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz 31 °C
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
using 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) RAM atm, hoping i can make it a bit faster

By all accounts that is some Corsair Vengeance memory. This would not be ECC or buffered, so certainly not server memory.

Did you buy all 4 sticks as a kit, or add two sets of two together. That doesn't always work.

Try one stick at a time to see if you can get it to boot. If you can, run CPU-Z for each stick and compare the results.

i bought 2 separate sets of 2, and each pack came as 16gb 2x8gb RAM sticks, i ordered, and then ordered another 2, 2 arrived so I tried them and they did not work, my computer won't even boot to bios with them, i waited for the other 2 to arrive and have tried all 4 sticks together and same as before PC won't even boot, it shuts down straight away, ah ok i will try each individual stick
