Hello everyone, my name is Alex. In the near future (3-4 mounths) I must replace my current Desktop with some kind of a Laptop because I will be leaving old my home town.
The Desktop:
Proc: Intel E6750
MB: medium-range Gigabyte brand, no SLI support
Ram: 4GB Corsair
Video: Msi geforce gtx 460 se cyclone
HDD: 2xWD 7200 rpm in Raid0
1. What is your budget?
~800$
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I hope for one with greater than 15' screen
3. What screen resolution do you want?
no ideea, never owned a laptop in my life
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
desktop replacement
5. How much battery life do you need?
medium-range
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I plan to play Diablo 3 on medium settings
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
no photo / video editing.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
less than 500GB
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I am far far away from the US
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
until I can earn enough money to buy a desktop. I have no way of knowing how much time that will be. 2 years maybe
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I would like to buy from HP / Toshiba and not from Acer. My knowledge in the Laptops universe is very very small, and my opinion here may be wrong.
