Question Desktop PC won't post. Is the BIOS bricked ?

Hey guys, I have an HP Pavilion A4000 Desktop PC that i got from a friend. he said it worked fine when he tested it, but upon much testing, it didn't work. Both the cpus i tested it with and all the different ram didn't make a difference. I tried onboard and external video. 3 different PSU's later and I discovered you can't use the power button to force shutoff, despite it working for powering on. I also tried clearing the cmos. I figure it might have a bricked bios. I have no idea what to try next. I would like to get this working as it's a decent little burner machine. Any advice is appreciated.

Sorry for your loss bud - but unfortunately that is most likely the case of a corrupted BIOS. You have to swap out the motherboard.
