desktop ram issue

Hey guys, I just got a desktop ram kit and only one of the two cards is showing up on my pc. i got a G.Skill 16gb(2 x 8gb). If I have both in the comp only recognizes I have 8gb (and yes they both work individually, just not together)

ram stats:
1.5v
ddr3
240-pin
1333

What's your motherboard? Check if you plugged them in the right sockets.

My mobo is "asus b85m-g micro atx lga1150 motherboard" and they were all plugged into the correct spots. I just found the issue, the 20+4 power pin was not plugged in all the way. The +4 was disconnected causing some issues, after it was reinserted i picked up on all my ram.
