Desktop screen does not appear.

Hello,
I boot up my windows xp and the windows loading screen appears then it goes black you can hear that windows is booting but the screen is black

Try booting into Safe Mode, reset your desktop to 800x600. then reboot. If that fixes it then you must be more careful when changing your desktop settings, and only use the maximum desktop size your monitor supports.
