I would like to create a desktop shortcut that will open a given folder of images displaying the first image and allowing me to scroll through the other pictures in the folder. Is this possible in Windows Vista and/or Windows 7? If so how do I create such a shortcut?

Thanks,

Bob

Hey there,
I am a little confused as to what you are asking, are you asking that your desktop shortcut icon be a specific image (i.e the first image) rather than the generic "folder" icon?

My end goal is to have a Desktop Folder which contains shortcuts to various Folders each containing many images. I want the first image in each Folder displayed Fullscreen and the "Next" and "Previous" buttons available for navigation through the Folder of images. ie - When I currently go to a Folder of images, "rightclick" and select Preview. I see the first image displayed fullscreen and the navigation buttons at the bottom. I want that to happen with a "clickable" shortcut.
