Desktop showing battery charging???

Good morning from San Diego. I found my desktop shutdown (not by me) so I restarted it and noticed the Battery Icon, lower right of task bar, was indicating the battery was at 92% and charging. This is a Dell XP8700 desktop and there is no battery; OS Win 10 Pro. Any input on why it shows a charging battery when there is none and could this be related to it having shut down on it's own. It now shows the battery fully charged, nothing about being plugged in though. Any feedback will be most appreciated... Thanks in advance...

Do you have a UPS? is the UPS connected via a USB cable to the PC?
It could have shut down your PC due to a power loss.

Yes there is a UPS, it has not suffered a power loss. Thanks for your thought...
