Solution
Sleep mode, hibernation etc..., have been problematic for years.
Don't forget to check in your Bios for settings that can affect it's functions.

Go to the power Management section of your bios, you have to set a multitude of settings
in order for sleep mode to work correctly, and to wake it up.
Could always go into the power management and disable sleep mode, least for the disk, maybe just let the monitor sleep in say fifteen minutes.
To change the power plan in Windows 10, perform these actions: At the desktop, click the Search Windows box and type "sleep". Select Power and Sleep settings, then select Additional power settings at the bottom of the screen.

Instead of shutting my computer down I usually leave my computer in sleep mode through start menu before I go to sleep but sometimes when I wake up my computer will have shut down when it was left in sleep mode, It will even shut down sometimes on its own after the computer auto sleeps after its 45 minute timer of being inactive.
I tried the Hard drive never turn off thing in power settings but it's still happening.

Disable sleep altogether and shutdown at night?
Advanced power settings - harddrive-never, click apply

Disabling sleep mode wouldn't let me use the feature anymore though would it? Is there a way you know of to keep sleep mode and fix the random shut downs?

This could be a work around, maybe your psu hates low power sleep states and that is why it happens
