Hey! So my trusty old gaming desktop suddenly died on me. It doesn't even turn on, and I'm assuming it's the PSU's fault? I think that my PSU (650W) is plenty enough for my gtx 1080.
I was playing a game while this happened. I know that my GPU bottlenecks my CPU, may this this be a contributing factor? I was planning to upgrade my motherboard, ram and CPU eventually either way.

GTX 1080
i5-4460
16 GB ram
Cooler master G650M (650W)
MSI B85M-E45, socket-1150

I've tried turning it on from time to time to check, but my effort bears no fruit :-(
I'm scared that this ordeal has affected other components, like my gpu (I recently bought it!) or storage...

Solution
Pull the GPU, boot the system up - make sure you have the latest drivers for your OS and GPU, then reinstall the GPU and see if it boots.

If it doesnt - it might be a bad GPU
