"Desktop window manager has stopped working" error on start-up?

Hi,

Yesterday I built my new PC and everything went fine. But everytime I start the computer I get an error saying that the Desktop window manager stopped working..? And also when i try to change to the Aero theme nothing happens.

What is causing the problem?
