My desktop internet connection is through Ethernet. Is it possible to ad an adapter to the desktop to allow it to print wireless?

Wiring is as such: modem - wireless router - hard wire to desktop.

I feel like every network adapter is for receiving WiFi. I don't want to receive WiFi, I just want to print over it.

Please advise :)

Mobo is Asus B-350 Gaming F

If you have a wireless printer, you should be able to connect it to your network via your WIFI router. You should then be able to print. You don't have to have a wireless connection on your PC to access a wireless printer, your router acts as the bridge.
