Desktop wont show

I am working in word programme and have have emails open also internet explorer i then cannot get back to my desktop i have tried minimising the programmes but i cant get to the desktop screen without re- starting the computer??

Control+Alt+Del to enter task manager. See if Explorer is in the process list. If so, kill the process. Now, you can select File, New Task, then type "explorer" (without quotes) to restart the explorer process. You should get your desktop functionality back.

Hi,

Try scanning for malware with malware bytes, adwcleaner, roguekiller.

If you got a lot of trouble there, try to run combofix.
If the problem persist, might be a bug in windows and might be better to format reinstall.
