BUILD
MOBO: B450 Tomahawk
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Ram: 2x8 Gb Corsair Vegance 36090mhz
GPU: Rx5700xt Sapphire Pulse
SSD Nvme Express XPG 512 GB
HDD: Credo un sata da 1TB
PS: Seasonic 650W Gold Plus

When I first did the build (in 2019) I didn't have any problem. In the last couple of months it became worst as now it's difficult even playing games as they keep crashing (sometimes with BSOD sometimes without)
Crashes are completely random..they can occur as soon as I turn on my pc or after few hours.

What I have done so far:
Format my SSD and install again win10
Teesting ram with MEMTest86--> no errors
testing SSD e HDD con Crystal --> no errors

Please see minidump on the following link:

top 3 errors are strange, i don't recognize the actions.
What USB devices do you have? One error mentions usbxhci which is used for USB connections
try updating synapse
update Icue, there is a newer version.
do you have a WiFi dongle? i only ask as its odd you have these
Oct 13 2021ibtusb.sysIntel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) Filter driver (Intel Corporation)
but no WIFI drivers. Most times, they on same device

I can’t really understand what could be the problem. I am so desperated! Is the only option available to change all the components installed?

not generally. I try to avoid people replacing entire PC to fix problems. I try to narrow it down a little.

all the errors look like drivers
top one occurred after CPU needed to look in ram for info but tried to access an area of ram it doesn't control.
Tplink wifi adapter which is connected directly to the Mobo
do you mean as an add on card? What model is it?
motherboard doesn't come with WiFi. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/b450-tomahawk/Specification

2x8 Gb Corsair Vegance 36090mhz
i have to assume ram is at 3600 and not 36090 as thats one nice overclock on ram otherwise :)

I doubt cause is PSU, Seasonic generally make good PSU. I may be biased as my last 2 have been from them. I know no one is perfect, always possible I will run into a bad one.

okay, the error that mentions usbxhci also mentions usbaudio which narrows it down to probably your headset?
who makes it?

on looking at what some of the initials mean...

I think it is your GPU drivers, even though yours appear new.
top 4 all mention GDI. It is Windows Graphic Device Interface. All applications have to use it to talk to GPU drivers and perform actions.
I have to say I hadn't seen it before, its what made top 3 look odd
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/gdi/windows-gdi

so knowing that helps to decypher this
GdiDdDDIGetDeviceState+7 (+0x07)
gdi ddi = graphics Device Driver Interface

When an application makes a request of GDI, and GDI determines that the driver supports the relevant function, GDI calls that function. It is the responsibility of the driver to provide the function and return to GDI upon the function's completion.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/using-the-graphics-ddi
its talking to GPU drivers.

try running DDU in safe mode and reinstall drivers again - https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq...n-install-of-your-video-card-drivers.2402269/

5th one looks like GPU too, now I look at it.

not sure about that usbaudio thing though. Do you run any audio off the monitor?

Regarding GPU I have already done what you suddgested me but I will try once again.
Regarding the Audio I am using hyperx cloud 2 which come with an integrated audio card.

Update: removed GPU drivers with DDU in safe mode and installed the following version: Adrenalin 21.10.2 Recommended (WHQL) and games keep crashing.

take USB hub off, just in case.

I think I have seen people have issues with that headset before. It doesn't have its own drivers. there is a firmware update but i have no idea if you have it already - https://www.hyperxgaming.com/en/support/technical/products/hscp

I would try playing without headset and see if you still BSOD.
the control chip on motherboard that looks after GPU also does USB so if a USB device is not behaving it can cause GPU problems as well. I have had it myself.

I would temporarily remove the USB hub. It may help, it may not. It won't hurt to give it a try.

I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/z5sfh2jo/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

i guess i should have asked if you actually used WiFi before i got you to update them.

if you use Ethernet, download Win10 Auto Installation Program (NDIS) from under windows header here - https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software

It isn't being obvious, the result is more in line with what i normally get... so i continue looking at drivers.
I can remember 5 years ago thinking irq errors were easy... now not so much.

How many times did you check the ram with memtest?

I had to install the wifi card as it has bluetooth inside and, in case I need it, I can use it but I am not really using it as I am using ethernet.
I did memory test once.
Some ppl said it could be ram which are very much compatible with ryzen.., but it sounds weird as I didn’t have this problem when Ihave installed the build in 2019.

try updating Ethernet drivers since you use it.

ram can go bad over time
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.
Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

I have removed one ram stick and started the test.
So far, no errors ( I am at step 3 of 4).
When will be finished I will remove it and do with the other one.
Just for asking.. do you think intel is more stable than AMD? It seems like ryzen and radeon gpu are not stable as Intel and nvidia card.. but maybe even If I will change them, problem will keep staying..

if you changed CPU and GPU you would also need to replace motherboard and maybe ram and by that stage you almost have a new PC and I would hope it works by then... but blindly replacing parts seems a waste of money to me. I would take PC to a repair store before I started guessing.

AMD/Intel: I don't find either is better/worse. Based on my PC, they about same. So far had 6 PC, 3 of each.
I have had 2 BSOD in 6 years, one was on Intel and other on AMD. And both were my fault. So no, I don't see a difference.
As for BSOD, I may have seen more AMD systems than intel last year but that is also based on popularity, for a few years AMD were better for gaming than Intel and so I saw more of those in error reports. It will even itself out now the new Intel are better again.

I would have thought AMD GPU/CPU worked better just given they both made by AMD.

I see more crashes caused by Nvidia drivers than I do from AMD. Its rare to find an AMD gpu causing problems. Though generally if they do, its one specific error
the number of Nvidia cards sold is reason I see more problems from them. My card is an RTX 2070 Super and doesn't have the problems I see other people get.

My system is similar to yours

GPU: RTX 2070 Super

i have helped someone with almost exact PC as I have, its pretty spooky.
