I am running low on SSD space and noticed Destiny 2 is still taking up space even after I deleted the files. I cannot find any trace of the files, yet the memory is still allocated to the game.I tried uninstalling it from the add/remove programs screen but it gives an error. The error suggests deleting the battle.net folder from the programdata however it will not let me because it says I need permission from admin, which I already am. I tried a couple different things including setting up a new admin account, altering the permissions of the folder and even though it shows all users have full control over the file it will not allow me to delete the file. I could really use that 30GB of sweet SSD space back and need some help. Thanks!

The properties tab of a folder would show the amount taken up. Would a game directory have invisible files?

OP, have you set your system up to show invisible files? In your control panel, open up "Appearance and Rationalization." Click the view tab under "File Explorer Options." Check to show hidden files and...
Right click the folder you are trying to delete.
Click Properties
Select the 'Previous Versions' tab. You should see multiple versions of the same folder name from days or weeks prior. These are basically automatic backups that were taken in the background.
Select an older version of the folder that you want to delete under the 'Previous Versions' tab.
Click 'Restore' button. You will see a warning that the folder will be restored and WILL overwrite the existing folder. If this is okay, then...
Click 'Yes' to restore the folder when prompted.
Right click the folder and select Delete once it has been restored.

The folder has no previous versions available

In that case, maybe try loading in Safe Mode and see if it will let you delete it that way.

Im not exactly sure. All i know is that i could not find any game files yet it shows its taking up 30 gb but i cant uninstall it

"it shows"
What...'it' ?

Install and run WinDirStat
Run as Adminstrator.
Post a screencap here.
