how can i do a complete destroctive recovery on my acer aspire 6920

You need to create a backup dvd of your windows installation before formatting your hardrive. Vista or 7 can do this. You should always do this right after buying a new acer, emachines, or gateway pc. Most don't come with a windows dvd. If your system won't load windows, look for one on craigslist or ebay.

No need for cd if you are using acer erecover.

Just restart and keep tapping alt-f10

go and go back to factory default. Just dont choose from user's backup.
