Question Detached Gigabyte GTX 1080 Fan plate

Hi everyone,

I just had a look inside my PC and noticed my GPU fan was out of place. Upon further inspection the entire fan plate isn't attached to the card in any way and is just dangling by the wires (thanks gravity).

Is this worth replacing under warranty or does anyone have any permanent solutions to reattaching it without voiding the warranty or causing a decrease in performance?

Well to know if you can attach it you will need to see how it should be attached. If it just clicks in to something, see if it clicks in. If you are not sure, contact the card vendor support.
