There is no need to upgrade RAM to install HDD. If you are looking for RAM then you should go with PC3-8500/10666 DDR3 240pin SDRAM DIMM memory. You can upgrade upto 16GB with 2 slots. Cheers, mate!!

You want a Dual Channel kit with that motherboard, mixing RAM sticks can cause issues.
