Determine Installed CPU

my computer onfront says AMD Phenom X4 64, how do i know if that's what i have or if it was changed, this was a friends computer and he added some better chips etc. ?

If you're on Windows, download & use CPU-Z, it'll tell you everything about your CPU, RAM, and GPU, every spec. Most likely he left the CPU alone and upgraded things like his graphics card.
