[SOLVED] Determining compatibility for SSD to replace HDD in laptop

I'm looking to buy an SSD for a (reasonably) old laptop that I have (Lenovo T560). How can I tell whether the one I am buying will be compatible?

A 2.5" SSD should work in that laptop, size depends on how much you want to spend. If you'd like to verify this open up the bottom of the laptop and look at the size of the hard drive in it.

I'm seeing that PC has a SATA HDD.....so I don't see why you couldn't replace it with an SSD.

If you are replacing the HDD....then it should fit as the SSD is smaller. They sell brackets for this.
