Deus EX :2 and Via Chipsets

Reports are surfacing that DX:IW can't be played on mobos with Via Chipsets (MSI mobos specifically) usuing Win 98 or ME as the OS. Some of these people have ATI cards (mostly 9600Pro). Anybody over here have the same expereince with this setup?

btw, my vid card's out for rma so I can't try it for myself yet 🙁

before you buy tht game you should check out some user reviews at gamespot. many people rate it a 1 out of a possible 10 saying it is more like an alpha release. that would be very very disappointing. the first was a classic. maybe i'll just go back and play that.
