Title is pretty self explanatory, my mouse is working, in fact it works on every pc of the house and even in my PC's BIOS, however, soon after windows boots it stops moving (tracking).

I checked the event log for the exact moment it stopped working and it has a Kernel error followed by two informations.

Error says HID device could not be migrated and the information says device was installed.

I have honestly no idea what to do.

I believe it may be conflicting with something, i just don't know what, or why. I tried assigning it as a HID device and while it was rebooting it i cancelled because there were a few applications left running. Doing so allowed me to use it normally. So this is something very very weird.

This worked for several minutes until the same thing happened again, mouse stopped tracking.

mouse is a mad catz rat 7

intel i7 2600 3.4ghz
nvidia gtx 960 4gb vram
16gb ram

They didn't
And yes I did have the latest drivers installed. But I suspect its the mouse. I tried again more thoroughly on another PC and it moves for a few seconds then comes to a halt. Might be time to get a new one, this one is already 4 years old.
